What is UNT Preview?
UNT Preview is a prospective student event designed for high school juniors, high school seniors, transfer students, and graduate students to learn more about UNT and what we have to offer our students. It will also give you the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from our academic departments, tour campus, visit the residence halls, and much more. If ever there was a day to come to our campus and learn about all things Mean Green, it's UNT Preview!
How should I prepare for UNT Preview?
As we are a walking campus, you should wear comfortable shoes and check the weather so you are dressed appropriately. Also, before you leave home for UNT Preview, make sure you have printed off the parking map and checked the schedule. Lastly, bring us your questions - we'll bring the answers.
Can an Academic Advisor evaluate my transcripts at UNT Preview?
Unfortunately no, transcript evaluation will not be offered at UNT Preview. However, you will have a sit down credit evaluation with an Academic Advisor from your major when you attend Orientation!
Will there be anyone I can talk to about scholarships and financial aid at UNT Preview?
Yes! The UNT Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (SFAS) will provide information sessions to cover the basics of the financial aid, how to complete the FAFSA, and scholarship opportunities at UNT.
Can I go to UNT Preview in lieu of Orientation?
UNT Preview is not an Orientation session. All new students are required to attend a New Student Orientation prior to their first semester at UNT. Please visit the Orientation website for more details.
Where can I purchase a UNT t-shirt?
The UNT Barnes & Noble Bookstore has all your Mean Green gear needs covered, from apparel to tailgate supplies. You can find them on the first floor of the University Union.
