FAQs

What is UNT Preview?

UNT Preview is a prospective student event designed for high school juniors, high school seniors, and transfer students to learn more about UNT and what we have to offer our students. It will also give you the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from our academic departments, tour our campus, visit our residence halls, and much more!

How should I prepare for UNT Preview?

As we are a walking campus, you should wear comfortable shoes and check the weather so you are dressed appropriately. Also, before you leave the house for Preview, make sure you have printed off the parking map and checked the schedule. Lastly, bring your questions! We'll provide the answers.

Can an advisor evaluate my transcripts at UNT Preview?

Unfortunately no, transcript evaluation will not be offered at UNT Preview. However, you will have a sit down credit evaluation with an Academic Advisor from your major when you attend Orientation!

Will there be anyone I can talk to about scholarships and financial aid at UNT Preview?

Yes! The UNT Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (SFAS) will provide information sessions to cover the basics of the financial aid, how to complete the FAFSA, and scholarship opportunities at UNT.
